Malaikat

I'm feeling very Islamic-full today, so I guess I'll share. Let's start.

So the other day Nina did a presentation on Malaikat alright and the class gave a lot of interesting questions that then I forward it to my primary source of answers : Mom. Okay, one of the question was: Why Humans from soil, Angels from light and Satans from Fire?

So we discussed and discussed and discussed and I kind of came up with this theory like, You know how angels needs to be at many places at once right? Take night of lailatulqadar for example, a few angels will come down to provide help and guidance to man on earth. And logically, with the normal speed of human, how are we supposed to get by the whole world so slow? So MAYBE, that's why Angels are created by light. They metaphoricly travel by the speed of light. I'm not saying they are our daily LIGHTS, they are more powerful than that. 'cause if not, our scientist would have probably catch their existence. So i think the significant factor why angels are created by light is to show how they shine, how they are moving so fast around you can't detect them and how they are God's holy messengers besides the prophets. Light if you think of it in general, is a symbol of many positive things such as hope and inspiration. Now satans and humans. Fire is a symbol of heat, heat is a symbol of hardship and to conclude fire are dangerous and can cause harm to any man. All in all anything to do with fire may represents a fearful force, anger, danger and pain. Satans exist to destroy the human. Not just physically but mentally and emotinally. Destroying the human race, turning us into idiotic selfish monsters, day by day killing the earth and forgetting the wonders Allah has granted us. So again, don't you think it's symbollic and metaphoric that Satans are made of fire? Man from soil, I've no much comment on that but to say because we live, breed and survive on this land we call earth, made up of soil and many rich resources. We are the major creatures of this land and I supposed it shows how attach we are to this earth that we do not realize it. Take gravity for example. Perhaps the way we walk on soil, the way we are actually made up from soil can be related to gravity. The fact that gravity always pulls us to the ground and on the soil/land we stand.
